

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ram Dabadghav is a retired qualified Civil Engineer who learned Yoga and Pranayam (breathing) exercises from his Guru in Pune, India. There are several fine yoga institutes in Pune and Ram has spent time there learning the intricacies of breathing exercises from various institutes. He practices yoga himself two hours a day and has immensely enjoyed the benefits particularly in the areas of physical fitness, mental piece, satisfaction and inner happiness. Ram has been in this business for the past eight years.
Until he started yoga exercises, Ram was a life time jogger and believed in aerobic exercises for fitness and good health. Ram suffered physical problems of panic attacks and nightmares from the age of 29. Doctors in different parts of the world (Ram has traveled to and worked in 58 different countries on four continents) could neither diagnose his problem nor could they offer him any solution. Nightmares consisted of awakenings at the middle of night with a feeling of choking and lack of breath. Many sleep apnea and other sleep diseases were investigated (including one at Stanford University) without success. Jogging helped to manage some of them but never totally eradicated any of the sleep problems. Several doctors recommended psychiatric treatment and recommended usual heavy dosages of lybraxin, valium and other mind controlling medicines. Ram found no relief from these medicines and discontinued them.
Due a stress fracture developed after prolonged jogging effort, Ram was advised to discontinue running exercises completely. At that specific time in his life, Ram came across a Guru from North of India, who was visiting Pune. He advised Ram that breathing and Yoga exercises will help him to conquer his life time nightmare problems. Ram immediately started taking lessons in hath yog and completed his basic training in three months. He then started practicing and teaching these exercises to others, first to his close family members and then to any one who wanted to learn. Over a period of eight years, Ram has delivered his yoga and breathing techniques to people in India, Dubai, Kenya, S. Africa, Jamaica and the U.S. Ram has helped many to control snoring by doing selected breathing exercises regularly.
Within six months of his starting the yoga and breathing exercises, Ram's panic attacks had completely vanished. His longtime nightmare problem slowly disappeared and he now enjoys a full eight hours of sleep.
Ram lives in Chicago area with his wife and continues to travel to India, Europe and Asia. His time is mostly divided between Chicago, San Francisco and Pune.
